What is Cygnos360 V2.0?

Cygnos360 V2.0 is an add-on PCB that allows you to have more than one kernel version on your xbox 360. Simply install Cygnos360 V2.0 on your Xbox360 mainboard and connect it via USB to your PC. Cygnos360 enables you to conveniently switch between two kernel versions. At the moment, you can have a "JTAG HACK kernel" on one NAND and on the other you can have a 7xxx dashboard. (DONT update to 85xx!) You can also, after obtaining your CPU key use Cygnos360 V2 to switch between PAL and NTSC kernels. This is now also possible on HDMI consoles that have not been updated to 85xx kernel versions!
NOTE: Cygnos360 does not contain any kernel image! It is shipped empty! Cygnos360 does NOT enable "backups" it is NOT for the DVD drive.

In the Xbox 360, on-board NAND-flash memory stores important data like the hypervisor, kernel, and key vault.
Through installation of Cygnos 360, the onboard NAND-flash memory is complemented with another NAND-flash memory contained on the Cygnos 360 printed-circuit board. Being able to choose between both NAND-flash memories opens up a variety of new fascinating possibilities. The following list tries to give you an impression about what can be done with Cygnos 360:
- play imported games or movies by switching your region code
- run homebrew via the JTAG hack

Why This Product Is Being Stock?

What's the point I here you say, I can just dump the NAND over LPT? - The Cygnos V2 Rev.F can dump a entire 512MB NAND in under 10 minutes, and program the 64MB section in 2-3 minutes which is astonishing.
Dumping / writing via LPT would take hours upon hours. - Not to mention that it can produce errors due to interference and timing difference in the LPT interface.

The Cygnos V2 provides connectivity over USB rather than the ancient LPT, the USB interface is a lot more reliable, error free, faster and more end user accessible.

The Cygnos Toolbox is also a great piece of software, forget slaving out commands on NANDPro or similar, read / write any image to your NAND in a few simple clicks via the toolbox.

Sure its possible to cut corners, take short cuts, save money. But in the end if you want the best homebrew solution for your Xbox 360 console, you cannot certainly go past the Cygnos V2.
